A short overview of the most important cigar formats and a short description.

Especiales
A very special format- with a length of 23 to 24 cm and a diameter of around 2cm, these are truly royal cigars. Generally they are even presented on their own in their own box. Rare and only on offer with few brands.

Double Corona
After the Especiales the longest cigar: length over 19cm and a diameter of around 2cm. Double Coronas are only producedfrom the best of tobacco and represent an exquisite pleasure.

Churchill
Named after possibly the most famous cigar smoker of this century, the Churchills are 17 to 19cm long, with a diameter of around 1.7 to 1.9cm. This format is available from a number of manufacturers.

Lonsdale
Named after the Lord Lonsdale, who had this product produced for himself for the first time. Lonsdale are available mild as well as with a strong flavour, they are around 15cm long with a diameter of 1.6cm.

Gran Corona
With its great balance this format is something for the true Aficianado. Around 15cm in length and around 1.6cm in diameter are the usual measurements. There are a variety of strengths from mild to overly strong.

Corona
An especially commonly distributed format with a length between 13 and 14cm and a diameter of around 1.6cm. They are a good choice after a meal or in between.

Robusto
A format which is visually not suitable for everybody: only 12cm short and with a diameter of 2cm, it looks a bit plump, offers however a high pleasure, in a relatively short time which is nowadays not irrelevant.

Petit Corona
Of pleasant taste and short burning time (max. 60 minutes) this cigar enjoys a high level of popularity. It is 12.5cm long and 1.6cm thick and is on offer from nearly all manufacturers.

Tres Petits Corona
Maximum 11cm long and 1.6cm thick this is one of the smaller cigars, which offers the perfect pleasure for in between, in around 1/2 hour the connoisseur can enjoy this format, where by the aroma can increase towards the end.

Gran Panatelas
A long, slim and very elegant cigar with a length of 19cm and a diameter of 1.5cm. It is available with a twisted head piece or a round head.

Figurados
Cigars, where its head (and sometimes also the burning end) slims down. Known as the "Torpedo" format. Figurados are cigars for the real connoisseur, which offer an overkill of aroma and taste.

Panatelas
With a length of 10 to 17cm and a diameter of 1.4cm, Panatelas present a generally elegant cigar, whereby they are especially popular with women. They are of pleasant lightness.
